Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information involved in using eToolPlus and the choices available to you. QR generation and image verification happen in your browser; ordinary website requests and messages sent through our contact form are separate.

QR inputs and uploaded files
The QR tools process entered URLs, text, contact details, Wi-Fi details, uploaded logos, and imported CSV files locally in your browser. The generation and verification functions do not upload those inputs to eToolPlus or an external QR service. The QR libraries are served as website assets rather than loaded from a third-party CDN during generation.
A QR image can reveal the information encoded in it to anyone who can copy or scan it. This includes a Wi-Fi password or the details in a contact card. A downloaded image, PDF, or ZIP is a file on your device; resetting the tool does not delete downloads. Bulk ZIP reports include the input URLs and row results.
Opening an encoded website or starting an email, call, text, or WhatsApp chat is a separate action handled by the destination and the relevant service. Their own privacy practices apply. Do not place private credentials into a publicly shared code.
Website requests and technical information
Your browser requests pages and assets from the website’s hosting services. These requests can include an IP address, page address, browser information, and a timestamp. Hosting and security services may process this information to deliver the website and investigate technical problems. This is different from submitting the contents of a QR form.
Do not put confidential information in a page URL or query string. A URL can appear in browser history, server requests, or information shared when you visit a linked service.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is an optional measurement service used to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used. It can process page addresses, cookie identifiers, browser and device information, referral details, and approximate location. Summarised reports do not make all underlying data anonymous.
In this version of the website, the Google Analytics tag is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. Rejecting optional cookies leaves the QR tools available. The QR scripts do not send generator field values, logos, or CSV contents as analytics events.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites for information about its processing. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported.
Cookies and changing your choice
Essential cookies support features such as contact-form protection, sessions, and remembering your cookie choice. Optional analytics cookies are not required for QR generation. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to accept or reject optional analytics cookies; rejecting disables future analytics collection through this page and subsequent page loads.
Your choice applies to the browser and device where it was made. You can delete stored cookies through your browser settings. Browser history, autofill, and restored tabs may retain information independently of the generator. Read the Cookie Policy for more detail.
Contact messages
If you submit our contact form, the name, email address, subject, and message you provide are sent to the website so the enquiry can be handled and delivered to the support inbox. Spam prevention and email services may process the submission as part of that delivery. Do not include passwords or other unnecessary confidential information in a message.
Contact information is used to handle the enquiry. Use the contact form if you have a question about information you supplied or want to request access, correction, or deletion. Requests are assessed against applicable obligations and any need to retain relevant correspondence.
Advertising
Advertising tags are not installed in the website version covered by this policy. The analytics choice is not a consent mechanism for personalised advertising. If advertising services are introduced, the policy and consent controls must be updated to describe the actual vendors and processing before those services are enabled.
