Choose images to watermark

Still JPG, PNG and WebP · Up to 20 images · 25 MiB per image

Or drop or paste images. Total source input limit: 200 MiB.

Undo restores settings and moves, up to 100 edits. Apply again to regenerate downloads. Choosing or removing a logo starts a fresh history.

Live watermark preview

Your image and watermark will appear here.

Drag the watermark to move it, or click the image to place its centre. With this canvas focused, arrow keys move by 1 source pixel; Shift + arrow moves by 10. The dashed positioning box is not exported. Preview fits the panel; check the downloaded image at its intended size.

Up to 160 characters and 4 lines.

Custom positions run from the left/top margin (0%) to the right/bottom margin (100%). Text and logos shrink if necessary to fit. Percentages apply separately to each source image.

Every result is re-encoded at the source's displayed pixel dimensions. PNG ignores quality; JPG replaces transparency with white. File size, metadata and colour profiles may change. The preview uses browser fonts; their appearance can differ between devices.

Rotate or mirror a picture

Use the image rotator and flipper for quarter turns, custom angles, horizontal or vertical flips, live preview and batch export.

Add text or a transparent logo

For a name, attribution or draft label, select Text and enter up to four lines. Choose a font, colour and optional outline. For a brand mark, upload a still logo image; PNG or WebP can retain an existing transparent background.

A white background in a JPG logo is part of the picture and will remain. The tool does not remove backgrounds or turn an opaque logo into a cutout. Only the watermark is made translucent; the source image keeps its own opacity.

Position it once, check each picture

Choose a corner or centre preset, or drag the watermark in the preview. Size is relative to image width, margins are relative to the shorter side, and custom coordinates describe travel between the margins. This keeps batch settings proportional across different sizes.

Long text or a tall logo can shrink to fit a small or portrait image. Switch the preview image to inspect each composition before exporting. Avoid covering faces, text or other details you need to keep.

Prepare a downloadable copy

Apply watermark creates a new encoded file for every supported image in the batch. Use View result to inspect the actual export, then download it individually or as a ZIP. Duplicate source filenames receive different batch numbers.

Changing settings removes previous results so their downloads cannot be mistaken for new ones. Cancel keeps completed files. To change size or format separately, use the image resizer or image format converter. Use the image compressor for a file-size target.

Local processing and limits

Image contents are processed in this browser without uploading them for watermarking. The website still loads scripts and shared services. Reloading or clearing loses the batch; downloaded files and originals stay on your device. A watermark is a visible label that can be cropped or edited; it does not prevent copying. Keep your original.

Source limits: 20 files, 25 MiB per image, 200 MiB combined input, 40 megapixels and a 12,000-pixel output side limit. Logo limits: 10 MiB, 16 megapixels and 4096 pixels per side. Available output files are capped at 200 MiB. Actual memory may require smaller batches. Animated PNG/WebP, GIF, SVG, HEIC and AVIF are unsupported. Read the Privacy Policy or report a problem with the browser, file type and settings.

Image watermark questions

Can I undo a watermark edit?

Use Undo and Redo to restore text, styling, position, opacity, size, margins and output settings. Each drag or typing session is one edit. Outside text fields, Ctrl/Cmd + Z undoes and Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z or Ctrl/Cmd + Y redoes. Source files and logo replacements are not restored; choosing or removing a logo starts a new history. Regenerate downloads after restoring settings.

Will the positioning box appear in my download?

No. The dashed box is only a drag guide. The encoded output contains the text or logo, without the guide.

Can I remove or edit the watermark afterwards?

The watermark is baked into the downloaded pixels. Keep the original to create another version. Your loaded source remains unchanged while you adjust settings.

Why does the watermark look smaller on one image?

Sizes are proportional to source width. If the text or logo cannot fit inside the margins, it is reduced to fit. Check the reported watermark dimensions and each preview.

Does a watermark compress or resize my image?

The source's displayed pixel dimensions are kept. Re-encoding can still change file size and visual detail; no file-size reduction or lossless JPG/WebP encoding is promised.
